That's even better than this one, but likely started off the same way. "Limited Winter Maintenance" is a Canadian code applied to any airport that does not have 24-hour snow removal. In some cases that means the snow is not cleared between ten pm and six am. In other cases it means the snow is not cleared between December and March. You have to phone and ask.
And no, I haven't gone into hiding, just stopped writing blogs and (mostly) stopped reading them. I'll catch up on both soon.

I suspect it's a fake. If it were real, wouldn't you see marks in the snow from the propellor, and more importantly, from the occupants of the plane leaving?
Paul you might be on to something. However, wouldn't the prop marks be covered up by the fuselage and wing marks in the snow? Also, notice the landing gear marks aft of the tail, and possibly strut marks aft of the mid-wing area. To keep you guessing, maybe the occupants aren't out of the a/c yet, and this photo was taken immediately after the incident.
Who knows. Sure does make you wonder.
Scuds
It is actually a remote control model glider. I've seen the this picture before. Just the end of a winter flying session.
